On Demand Resources

The engineer you need, already trained on AI, ready in days.

This is not a staffing service. It is access to pre-vetted, senior engineers who use AI development tools natively, which means they move faster, cost less in effective hours, and integrate cleanly into your team without a long onboarding curve.

What makes our engineers different

Every engineer we place uses Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude as daily tools, not occasionally, but as a core part of how they write, test, and review code. That alone delivers a 30–50% productivity advantage over a standard augmented developer at the same day rate.

Why Agively engineers are different

Not a staffing agency. A talent network of AI-native engineers.

Standard staffing agency
CV screening only

You get a profile, not a proven track record. You do the technical vetting.

AI tools optional or unused

Most developers use AI tools sporadically. No systematic productivity advantage.

Volume over quality

Large talent pools with mixed experience levels. Juniors are often presented as seniors.

Account manager in the middle

You communicate through an intermediary. Feedback loops are slow and diluted.

Weeks of onboarding

Getting unfamiliar developers up to speed on your codebase costs weeks of lost momentum.

Agively engineers
Technical vetting done for you

Every engineer is assessed on real code challenges, AI tool proficiency, and communication before you see them.

AI-native by standard

Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, part of daily workflow. 30–50% productivity advantage baked in.

Senior engineers only

No juniors learning on your budget. Every engineer has a track record of shipped production work.

Direct communication, always

Your engineer talks directly to you or your team. No account manager relaying messages.

Fast context acquisition

AI-fluent engineers use Cursor’s codebase indexing to understand large codebases in hours, not weeks.

Hiring full-time
3–6 months to hire

Job listing, screening, interviews, offer, notice period. Your project waits.

High fixed overhead

Salary, employer NI, benefits, equipment, management overhead, even when utilisation is low.

Right for long-term core roles

Full-time makes sense for permanent, ongoing roles where deep institutional knowledge matters.

Hard to scale back

When a project winds down, you carry the headcount. Redundancy is expensive and disruptive.

Skills gap risk

If you hire the wrong specialisation, course-correcting is slow and costly.

The bottom line

Agively On Demand Resources gives you the quality and vetting of full-time hiring, the speed and flexibility of staff augmentation, and the productivity advantage of AI-native engineering, without the months of recruiting or the long-term overhead.

Roles we place

Senior engineers across every layer of the modern AI stack

All roles are senior-level, AI-tool-proficient, and available for sprint support, project delivery, or long-term team extension.

AI / ML Engineer

LLM integration and AI product development. Best for AI-native product features, LLM integrations, intelligent automation, and data pipelines that power model serving.

How it works

From request to first commit, in days, not months

Our process is deliberately fast and low-friction. We believe the best way to prove the quality of our engineers is to get one working with your team as quickly as possible.

1
Day 1

Tell us what you need

A 30-min call or a short written brief. Role, skills, engagement model, timeline. No lengthy forms.

2
Days 1–2

We match and shortlist

We identify 1 to 3 engineers from our network who fit your brief. You receive profiles with real project work, not just CVs.

3
Days 3–5

You meet the engineer

A direct 45-minute conversation with the engineer, no recruiter in the room. You assess fit, they understand your codebase. No obligation to proceed.

4
Week 1–2

First commit shipped

Contracts signed, access provisioned, standup joined. Our engineers use Cursor to index your codebase and start delivering production-quality work in days.

Full IP ownership

All code produced belongs to you. Clean contractual IP assignment from day one.

Transparent pricing

Fixed daily or monthly rates, agreed upfront. No hidden fees, no surprise invoices.

Free replacement

If an engineer isn’t the right fit within the first two weeks, we replace them at no charge.

1-week notice to end

No long lock-in. Wind down or pause with just one week’s notice at any point.

When to use On Demand Resources

Common situations we’re brought in for

“We have a hard deadline and not enough engineers”

A product launch, a client commitment, or a board-mandated date. We provide the additional capacity to hit it without the three-month hiring cycle.

“We need AI expertise we don’t have in-house”

LLM integration, RAG pipelines, AI agents, specialist skills that take months to hire for and years to develop. Available from us within days.

“A key engineer is leaving and we can’t afford a gap”

We bridge the gap between a departure and a permanent hire, preventing loss of momentum and knowledge while you recruit at your own pace.

“We want to scale fast without a hiring commitment”

A new contract, market expansion, or product pivot requires engineering scale-up. On-demand gives you capacity without the fixed overhead of a headcount increase.

Quick answers

Common questions

How quickly can an engineer start?

Most engineers can start within one to two weeks of your request. The process from brief to first day typically takes five to ten business days, initial call, shortlisting, your interview with the engineer, contracts, and access provisioning.

Who manages the engineer, us or you?

You manage the day-to-day work. We handle the commercial relationship, any issues that arise, and quality assurance. You get the benefits of a direct working relationship without the administrative overhead of being the employer.

What time zones do your engineers work in?

We have engineers across IST (India), GST (UAE), and GMT/BST (UK). Most can flex their working hours to overlap meaningfully with your team’s core hours, we discuss this during the briefing call and match accordingly.

Can we convert an on-demand engineer to a full-time hire?

Yes, and we actively encourage it when it makes sense for both parties. If you work with an engineer through us and want to bring them on permanently, we have a straightforward conversion process. This is one of the advantages of our model: you de-risk the hire by working with them first.

What if the engineer isn’t the right fit?

Within the first two weeks, if you feel the engineer is not the right match, we will replace them at no additional charge. Beyond two weeks, we ask for a week’s notice to source and transition to an alternative. We have not had a replacement request yet, but the guarantee exists regardless.
