Questions about AIBox
How is this different from a regular company wiki or shared drive?
A shared drive has no idea who should see what beyond folder permissions. AIBox checks access attributes on every search result and every AI answer, and explains its answers with citations instead of just serving up a file.
What happens when someone searches for a document they cannot access?
It still appears in results as a blurred card with the title and a request-access button. They cannot read the content, and the request goes straight to the document’s approver.
Can the AI make things up?
It is instructed to ground every answer in retrieved passages and cite the source document and page. If the library does not contain the answer, it says so instead of guessing.
Is our data used to train anything?
No. AIBox is self-hosted and single-tenant. Your documents stay in your own deployment.
Can we generate new documents from what we already have?
